"Kind of hard to use on my phone"
I tried using it on my phone, but the pages were loading slowly and I got lost in the site faster than I expected, haha. It just wasn’t the easiest experience for me

I’m only sharing this because it matched how my visit felt. The place itself was okay, but the interaction with the staff kind of threw me off.

They didn’t seem very friendly, and when I asked a couple of simple questions, I felt like I was being brushed off? It made things awkward, like I was bothering them just by being there.
Maybe it was just an off day, who knows... but customer service really does make a difference. I probably wouldn’t feel great about going back unless the attitude was better.

I tried to pay a couple times and the checkout page just kept spinning and spinning with no real error message or anything helpful, so after waiting around and refreshing and not knowing what else to do I gave up and bought it somewhere else.

"Slow replies made me uneasy"
It took way too long to hear back from them. I sent a message and ended up having to follow up before I got any kind of answer. They were nice once they finally responded, but the slow communication was frustrating and made me a little suspicious, like I might end up finding out about some extra fee or catch later...

"Decent spot, parking was the catch"
My first impression was that this place is in a convenient area. It was easy to find, and right away I liked that it wasn’t far from other spots around SLO, so getting there didn’t feel like a hassle.

That said, I quickly changed my tune once I had to deal with parking. It was hit or miss, and I ended up circling around before finding a spot that was farther than I wanted. Not the end of the world, but it definitely made the visit feel a little less easy than I expected.

"Felt like something was off"
I volunteered once, it was a weird experience. I showed up ready to help, but there were no clear tasks and I spent most of the time just standing around waiting. Nobody really checked in or seemed to care whether I was there or not, which made me wonder what was actually going on behind the scenes. Not the kind of volunteer experience I was expecting.

"Fair trade details felt a little unclear"
I was hoping to find more solid info about where the products actually come from and how the fair trade side is being verified. The site says a lot about doing good, which is nice, but I kept looking for real details and didn’t really find enough to feel confident.

Maybe everything is totally legit, I’m not saying it isn’t. But for fair trade products, I kind of expect things like supplier names, certifications, or clearer sourcing info. Without that, it just didn’t feel very transparent to me, it made me hesitate

"Shipping took way too long"
I placed my order weeks ago and kept checking my email for updates, but there wasn’t much besides the original receipt. The shipping was really slow, and when I reached out to support, they didn’t give me much help or a clear answer. Frustrating experience overall, and I don’t think I’ll order from here again.

"Not really my kind of vibe"
I don’t know, the place just felt kind of cold and quiet when I went in. There wasn’t much energy, and I never really got comfortable enough to browse for long. Maybe it was just an off day or maybe I’m used to a different kind of store atmosphere, but yeah... it just didn’t really work for me.

I tried placing an order on humankindslo.org and it was a headache. The checkout kept acting glitchy, then the confirmation took forever to come through. I never really got a clear update on what was going on either. I reached out for help, but the reply was slow. Not planning to order from them again, tbh.

"I honestly didn’t feel welcome"
I went in hoping it would be a friendly, comfortable place, but it just felt really cold. No one seemed that interested in helping, and I ended up feeling awkward the whole time. At one point I was thinking, how is this okay if you’re supposed to be making customers feel welcome? Maybe other people had a better experience, but for me, it really didn’t feel inviting at all...

I stopped in and the place just didn’t feel very clean. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in a while, and I noticed dust around some of the shelves. It kind of made me not want to browse for long. I was also expecting a faster response when I brought it up, but maybe I just caught them on an off day. Still, it was disappointing.

"Not really worth the money"
I was disappointed with this. It looked nice in the pictures, but once I got it, it felt cheap and really thin. After just one wash, it already didn’t hold up well and the stitching started looking loose. For the price, I expected a lot better. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I was hoping to find more original stuff, but a lot of the products looked basic to me. It didn't really feel special or that different from other online shops I've seen. Maybe it's fine for some people, but I was kinda disappointed

"Well, That Was an Adventure"
I can’t say I had a great time using this site. I went in thinking I’d quickly find what I needed, which was clearly a hilarious overestimation on my part. Everything felt confusing and kind of all over the place, so I ended up spending more time trying to figure out where things were than actually getting anything done. Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me it was just frustrating. I probably wouldn’t use it again.
